According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC),"Human activities have contributed to increased atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations, rising sea level, higher ocean and atmospheric temperatures and reductions in ice and snow." Accordingly, "it is extremely likely that human influence has been the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid-20th century."
